Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint 101 Workshop
If you haven't heard of Berne Indiana's newest American made Boutique Nora Gray, then keep reading!! This quaint little shop is owned by my older sister, Staci Huey, and I get the pleasure of taking all of the photos for her shop. For those who are curious what the shop carries, you can find a vast variety of American made products including women's clothing + plus sizes, unique baby & kid gear, CindaB handbags, trendy jewelry, restyled furniture & + more! If restyled furniture caught your eye, then you need to check out the Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint line! If you're huge on All Natural products and love the chippy antique look, then this paint is for you!
If you're not the creative type and need some step by step instructions for learning the different techniques, Nora Gray offers a couple in house workshops to help you learn! Below you'll see a glimpse of this weeks MMSMP 101 Beginner's Workshop Class! #MMSMP #Iheartmilkpaint
After your class you get to take your apron home! These aprons are lifesavers when it comes to keeping your clothes nice! We never paint without one!
Milk Paint Guides are available at Nora Gray if you ever are interested in learning about the milk paint!
Lets just say by the expressions Staci is giving us, she is passionate about this milk paint!
The classes are held in a fun, laid back & creative environment! No mistakes happen here!
For all things Milk Paint & decorating, make sure you check out this handy guide by Marian herself! Available at Nora Gray.
Mustard Seed Yellow is a customer favorite!
Furniture, antique, and white wax are all sealers for milk paint. Along with wax you can use hemp oil or a tough coat.
This technique is called Hemp Oil Resist! Such a fun way to achieve the primitive look!
Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint offers 24 variety's of colours! Among these you can also mix your own custom colours.
Big thanks to all you ladies for coming out and having a creative night with Nora Gray! All of your boards turned out amazing and we can't wait to see some of your finished products one day! We hope to see you in our future 102 milk paint class where we will be doing fun take home projects!
