I have gotten to know Tami through my position at Nora Gray Boutique in Berne, Indiana but, I’ve always known the family because well, we’re from a small town. Everyone knows everyone ❤️ The kids reached out before Christmas last year and wanted to gift their mom & dad a family session since it’s been since the girls were babies that last time they took a group shot of everyone. I’m so glad they did because I adore how these turned out. Their son Logan has been renovating an old mill in Linn Grove and it made the best backdrop for us. Sheldon & Claire’s April wedding was stunning! The entire week we had rain.. and I mean LOTS of rain but as soon as Saturday morning rolled around it was sunny and beautiful all day. We met at the fairgrounds in Portland, Indiana, and explored the property in search of the best spot for us, then I spotted the flowering trees and knew that’s where we needed to go. Thank you so much for having me spend such a special day with you both and I just hit send on your gallery last night!!

The spotlight event of the evening was definitely the introductions at the reception when one power-wheel car lost control and knocked an entire table down! Small hiccup but it left everyone with a good laugh for the evening! When I left everyone was having a great evening on the dance floor ❤️

We had a gorgeous evening (with a little wind 💨) this past weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Carston & Madison are saying their “I do’s” this July and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be the one to get to capture their special day, especially after having such an amazing engagement session. We met downtown at the courthouse and wandered our way through some of the side streets of Fort Wayne making sure we found some of the cutest nooks + crannies, really anywhere to escape that wind. We ended up on top of the cutest parking garage with a stunning sunset & a bottle of champagne that ended up more on them than drank!

What a cute session I had with these two! Rosemary reached out and wanted to do something special to announce that she and Brennen are expecting so of course, we made that happen. When Rosemary sent me her Pinterest board of “inspiration” I got the vibe she wanted a dreamy storytelling vibe so we mixed in those trendy shots with some blur to help give it that feeling. My favorite shot is at the end, it’s just of Rosemary’s bump and my lens just happened to fog up on me and it created a gorgeous image. Make sure you scroll to the bottom to see that one ❤️

Lauren & Luke’s wedding day was a day I was so thankful to photograph. SO MUCH LOVE was shared on this day not just between Lauren & Luke but everyone. It was a honor to photograph such meaningful vows, first looks and just an entire wedding day full of love. They were married at The White Rose in Preble, Indiana ❤️ and it was absolutely stunning! I especially loved the velvet touches!

HOW IS IT ALREADY APRIL 😱 2024 has already been flying by!!

It’s wedding week for these two and I am BEYOND excited to get behind the camera again for my first wedding of the season! This past fall I got together with Claire, Sheldon and their kiddos for an engagement/family session, looking back at these makes me miss fall colors + tones SO much but I am beyond excited to start getting more growth outside here in Indiana.

Alyssa’s maternity session was so darn perfect and it felt SO good to be back outside with a sunset ❤️ I think I have shared almost every photo from her session in this blog post because honestly, I couldn’t choose!! What a good problem to have, right?! Thank you Alyssa for trusting me the whole way and letting me create the visions I had inside my head and for being such a great sport even when in reality it’s March in Indiana.. it was not warm so make sure to give this girl a round of applause 👏

Another senior from the class of 2024 is here, say hello to Nick!! We explored his family farm in Monroe, Indiana and incorporated some of his favorite things (which, I always recommend ☺️) and personally, I loved his session. They brought out all of the equipment, all the locations and all the details.. it was AWESOME! Atlas isn’t so little anymore but I adored this 6 month session we took a year ago yesterday! Thank you Heller’s Nursery for letting us come out and use their amazing business for a perfect backdrop. If you know me, you know I love plants and I love the color green so this was right up my alley. I have taken photos for Acacia + Jim now for years ❤️ I’ve been there for their engagement, wedding, little Atlas and soon also their newest kiddo that's on the way! I can’t express how much it means to me to have repeat client/friends who appreciate what you do and support you all the way. Thank you Suhrer family for everything and I can’t wait to meet the newest addition real soon!

Wanting to do a session during the winter/early spring months BUT still want some color?? The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory in Fort Wayne, Indiana is an ideal location for you! About a year ago, I met with Clancy to shoot some portraits for her senior photos here and they turned out beautiful!! Not only does it give vibrant greens but it’s also a great place to escape the cold Indiana weather during the early winter months.

Olivia + Adam’s special day is a day that shouldn’t go unnoticed ❤️ There was SO much beauty and of course they were married at one of my favorite venues, The Barn on Boundary in Eaton, Indiana. It was another beautiful day with literally the best details! The orange + pink color scheme worked perfectly together and was such a refresher for a Mid-Summer day….like Sherbert ice cream but wedding style. Thank you again to Olivia + Adam, their entire family and all their friends for being amazing to work with and hosting a stunning day!

March is Daylight Savings time which means… longer evenings are heading our way and I CAN NOT WAIT! Thank you Haley, Trey & Lucy for coming out and getting some maternity photos taken before their little boy arrives. Enjoy ❤️
