Hannah + Grant got married in May of this year and I just had to show you all the beautiful details and emotions that were had that day.. so let’s take a trip down memory lane ❤️. They chose to have their wedding + reception at Bearcreek Farms in Bryant, Indiana. It’s a small venue surrounded by Amish country and nothing for miles.. it’s just stunning.

It’s a gorgeous day for a blog post and I thought Jordan & Abby’s session would be perfect to share. I get to capture their wedding in June 2025 at the gorgeous Barn on Boundary in Eaton, Indiana. I’m beyond excited to be a part of their special day but I am OBSESSED with these engagement photos. Every single photo was phenomenal and I had so much fun exploring and creating with them from the fields to the beach. If you follow me on social, you know I love water features in my photos so of course we had to hit the beach during sunset. Oh, sweet baby Miley. I can’t even imagine how much you’ve probably changed since we took these. Alyssa and I had such a sweet session with Miley back in May, let me say she just did an amazing job. If you’re expecting and looking for an alternative option to having an in-home session, then I would recommend Parlor Studios in Bluffton, Indiana. I have been shooting several newborns and families here and it’s such a great option to have locally for such an affordable price.

I get to meet this little babe any day now (seriously, can’t wait) ❤️ It’s been so fun capturing Luke & Lauren’s engagement, wedding, and now their family of 3! It’s been a busy shooting season so blogging has been on the bottom of my to-do list but I am back and ready to blog my little heart out today. I’m keeping it short and sweet today so you can do what you came here to do, and enjoy some photos!

I have been behind on the blog lately just due to life and I wanted to use some spare time I had today to highlight Trace + Makenna. I am beyond excited to shoot their wedding this October, they will be the last wedding of the 2024 season ❤️ We chose downtown Bluffton, Indiana as our backdrop and went to work finding all the cutest nooks + crannies downtown had to offer. I love when my couples choose to mix nature and urban together for their engagement shoots. I feel like it gives their session just enough change in textures to take it another step up.

A little sand in between the toes never hurts, right?! I always look forward to seeing the Guingrich family and I can happily report that this has been our best session yet. The kids loved every second of the beach, we got the posed photos out of the way quickly and then let them loose and had nothing but a fun session!

If you have young kiddos and want to perfect your photos… you won’t. My best advice is to let them have fun.

Good morning to all ☀️ currently I am on the road in Springfield, Illinois helping Burman Photography with a wedding later today. My morning has been slow and relaxing with nothing but this small blog post and a good cup of black coffee. I’m working outside this morning, enjoying the buzzing of local traffic, birds chirping and watching the backyard squirrel take it’s laps on the fence creating a barrier between me and the neighbor.

I loved this family session with the Myers. I’m not going to lie, we worked HARD (especially Kati) to chase Cohen around and get those smiles but I adore how it all turned out. So raw and REAL.

What an amazing evening with Alexis + Cade! We decided to take full advantage of the state park in Bluffton, Indiana and it sure did deliver. We explored all over and ended at the best location, THE BEACH! Make sure you scroll to the bottom because those were some of my favorite shots of the entire evening ❤️ These two become Mr. & Mrs. this August and I am thrilled to be a part of their special day. We originally were going to shoot earlier in the month but the weather said otherwise. I’m glad it did because this was a perfect evening to take engagement photos.

I can’t believe that in less than 2 months we finally get to meet this babe!! I am BEYOND excited to see some of my best friends become mom + dad, I know they will soar as parents ❤️ We weren’t scheduled to take photos until May 2nd BUT when Chelsey’s backyard became a flowering honey hole, we took action!! Just in time too, because when they got back from their baby-cation all the flower blooms were gone.

Thank you to you both for having me capture these and especially to Chelsey for always being a constant support for me and my photography. She is always sharing content and boasting about my photos, I couldn’t ask for a better friend. I am so excited to watch you two grow as parents and meet your little one very soon ❤️

What an adorable session with the Froning family ❤️ They brought me to a family cabin and let me tell you, I wish I had something like this in my backyard!! It was a photographer’s honey hole. Between the tall grass, wildflowers, cabin, and flowering trees… I could have stayed there forever!!! Thank you so much to all of you for the continuous support towards my small business and I can’t wait to see little Charlie for her 1 year session (you can find their maternity session + newborn session further back on my blog).

Mommy + Me Minis were HUGE hit this year ❤️ I wanted to give Parlor Studio in Bluffton, Indiana a big thank you for hosting and another big thank you to Mazies Flowers for the floral installation. What a great Friday it’s been so far!! I have delivered two sessions, blogged two sessions, and have several sneak peeks on the way. I’m so happy you’re here because I am obsessed with Gwen’s newborn photos and I want everyone to see them. Acacia + Jim have done some renovating on their home since the last time I was there and let me tell you, their master bedroom is SO CUTE! The paint color (Urban Bronze) is going to be making it into my utility room.

Gwen was a rockstar for this session but her big bro Atlas wasn’t quite sure about it. You would never know by these photos 🥰 we pulled through and had an amazing session. Thank you again Acacia + Jim for the continuous support you’ve given my photography business. It’s been so fun watching your family grow and can’t wait until next time ❤️
