Dettmer Wedding
Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to celebrate finishing the Dettmer wedding with a post about their big day. First let me say even though it was like 5 degrees I wanted to thank everyone for being so helpful and still going outside for tons of pictures and second, wait till you see the bride because she was gorgeous! I told myself I was only going to choose my favorite images for this post BUT there honestly was so many good ones that I couldn't resist not showing them off.
This was my last 2017 wedding right after Christmas. We had fresh snow on the ground and a gorgeous location(s). I hope you enjoy scrolling and feel free to leave a comment below of your favorite image!

OMG I loved Regan's shoes.. I mean scallops + royal blue... GAHH!
Okay real quick.. I want to tell you why I loved this ring so much.... one word... simplicity. I see several rings and I love them all but something about the simplicity of this one with the gold just.... seems right!
So not only did we have snow we had wind! The poor boys were troopers for their quick 20 minute session! Boy was it cold. I almost put hot hands in my shoes.
I love waiting for the ceremony BUT something about first looks I love more. You get that special moment without hundreds of people staring at you (which I like personally) BUT usually this 5-10 minutes of alone time you can have your emotional moments and just focus on each other and not an entire congregation. Am I right?
My 2nd shooter Amanda took this photo and personally it's one of my favorites she took. That sunlight is just perfection.
