Hello!

There are so many great things I could say about this family even though I have only known them a short period of time. I traveled to their home in Huntertown to meet little Miss Marleigh for their in-home newborn session.. or as I like to call it a lifestyle session.

When it comes to lifestyle sessions I first search for light coming in big windows and luckily they had two great areas including her nursery and their master bedroom. We stuck to mainly those two rooms and it worked out perfectly. Or sometimes I like to say… perfectly imperfect. Photos don’t need to be perfect. In fact, most of my clients like those more unposed and weird photos of their kiddos! I mean, how could you not love those real shots?

I hope you enjoy seeing a small peek into the Schommer Family and their two sweet kiddos. You will find those “perfectly imperfect” photos throughout this entire session.. and I think that’s why I liked this session enough to blog it. Real moments… are the best moments!

Oh!! Those sweet chunky cheeks are seriously the best!

When you have a newborn and a 4 year old in the same photo.. you never know what you are going to get.. but I give Maverick props because he did AWESOME!

It’s not a newborn session without a little tears! I mean.. it’s a tough job getting your photo taken!

HOW REAL IS THAT!!!

And it’s not a family session with out a little bribery.. I told Maverick I would take photos of him jumping on the bed once we were all done! I’d say he was pretty excited to do that.
